Amy Fox

Writer. Editor. Bad at blogging.

I am currently working full-time as a writer for The Day, a news and education resource for secondary schools which aims to open minds and teach teenagers to think critically about the world around them.

I have been writing professionally for several years. I spent almost two years writing full-time for Let’s Knit magazine, as well as contributing to the gorgeous home and craft magazines Homemaker and Make it Today.

As an award-winning editor-in-chief of Concrete, UEA’s student newspaper, I regularly wrote features and news stories which you can read here.

In 2014, I co-founded Abstract, an online magazine for confused twenty-somethings. I write there about mental health, Taylor Swift, and feminism. You can also indulge in some serious food porn on the brunch blog I co-run with my housemate, Hattie.

As an occasional freelance writer, I have written a series of blogs for Mslexia and helped out at Woman’s Weekly.
